Wildrid Laurier University Looking For Host Families
Brantford continues to be a destination for post-secondary students. This March, Wilfrid Laurier University is welcoming approximately 40 students from Dijon, France for a 4-week business program. If you have interest and opportunity to welcome, support, and host a student, check out more details below including allowances and other supports.
The LEAF Program at Wilfrid Laurier University will soon be welcoming a group of approximately 40 students from the Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France. The students will be arriving March 21 and studying for almost four weeks at the university’s Brantford campus. In partnership with the Canada Homestay Network (CHN), we are now looking for homes in the Brantford area who would be interested in hosting a student for the duration of their stay.
CHN places thousands of students every year in communities across Canada and have built a reputation as the country’s most trusted homestay provider with more than 20 years of dedicated service to their hosts. 24/7 support from a local CHN Relationship Manager will be provided throughout the stay as well as an allowance to offset expenses. Our ideal hosts would be excited to welcome one of these students into their home and eager to spend some time with them. Our students are looking for homes where they can experience everyday Canadian life in a caring, English-speaking environment.
