St. Leonard’s wants to see your #SignsOfHiring

Have you seen the signs? The economy has begun to recover from the pandemic and the lockdowns and stay-at-home orders that came along with it. Businesses are showing signs of hiring again.

#SignsOfHiring

When you see a 'Now Hiring' or 'Help Wanted' sign in a local business, snap a picture of the sign in the window and share it with St. Leonard’s along with the name and address of the business. They will share it on their social networks, and you'll be entered to win a weekly prize of a $25 gift card to a local business of your choosing.

You can also email them your pictures at bec@st-leonards.com with the name and address of the business or tweet them with the same information and the hashtag #SignsOfHiring.

There is a looming labour shortage on the horizon, at the same time as there are still a large number of people out of work. Together, we can all help connect these dots by spreading the word about local businesses who are seeking staff.

This way more people will see where the opportunities are right here in our community. Help people find jobs and local business find the staff they need. Every photo you share earns another entry into their random draw for $25 at a local business.

Please be respectful to ensure the photos have no people (or at least no faces) clearly visible in them as some people don't like to have their pictures shared online.

One winner will be randomly drawn from all of the qualified entries every week for the six weeks of this contest from July 21st until September 1st. Read the full contest rules.
