Forging Deeper Relationships
Yesterday our team and Mayor Davis were warmly welcomed by Kuriyama Canada Inc. Kuriyama’s roots run deep in Brantford. The company chose Brantford as their first location for Canadian operations 42 years ago, and it also represents the community’s first major Japanese industrial investment. Since that time, the business has grown to more sites in Ontario and Brantford remains at the centre of domestic operations.
Kuriyama manufactures and delivers high quality thermoplastic hoses, rubber hoses, and tubing products for countless industrial, commercial, and equipment applications. And while they take great pride in these outstanding products, they are even more proud of their talented and committed workforce, with the tenure of many measured in decades.
By visiting with the Kuriyama team, the City’s team learned about their successes, challenges, opportunities, and needs. These visits open the door to deeper relationships, ensuring that we understand each other and can work for the mutual benefit of the business and our community.
Though we are a small team, our desire is to get to know our businesses so we can support them as they embrace challenges and grow to new heights. If you would like to connect with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team at any time.
