Electric vehicle (EV) ChargeON Program

The EV ChargeON program provides funding for the installation of public electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Ontario communities outside of major cities.

Eligible applicants, located and operating in Ontario, include:

• Businesses;
• not-for-profit corporations;
• municipal governments;
• Indigenous communities, organizations or businesses; and,
• broader public sector organizations.

The funding available for each project depends on the type of applicant and type of charging technology you propose. The maximum amount of funding available per project is $1 million. Each site is considered 1 project.
